Listen! to Your Groups
Today GroupFlier unviels Conference Calling and Voice Mail for your groups. Here is how to do it: Conference Calling
To start a conference call dial your group number and press 0 to start the conference. The group members will get a text message inviting them to join the call. Anyone can start a conference call for a chat group, but only the group creator can start a conference call for a broadcast group. A conference can have up to 40 participants. Voice Mail
To send a voice mail to the group dial your group number and press 3 to record a message. The group members will get a text message alerting them of the new voice mail. A voice mail message goes to everyone in a chat group. In a broadcast group a voice mail message from the creator goes to everyone, however a message from a member goes only to the creator. You can have multiple voice mail messages at a time. You can delete a voice mail message at any time. |

Showing GroupFlier
We had a phenominal time in Austin with, LiveShare, Microsoft, Applications for Good, Ascentium, Akami, and other companies showing avant garde technology. A lot of people turned up for the event to hang out and have fun. We thank TechCocktail for putting it all together. The weekend was full with interviews, panels, meetings—Oh, and parties. It was great to see so many people from so many different places using groupflier from their iPhone, Android, Blackberry, and standard cell phones. We got wonderful feedback. Watch one interview with RCRWireless: For the second half of South By Southwest Groupflier is migrating from Interactive to Fashion and threading the two together. You can find us in the Look Book along with a preview of the what StyleX has to offer. GroupFlier Featured on SlapStart
"Today I came across a true masterpiece. I'm not talking about a Mona Lisa that garners hoopla just for having an allegedly mesmerizing half-a-smile. I'm talking about an innovative solution and top quality product. I'm talking about GroupFlier." —SlapStart Steve Gibson's review of GroupFlier for SlapStart, which features stand-out startups, is descriptive, funny, and glowing. We apreciate when our fans can get wrapped up in the unique benefits of using GroupFlier the way Steve goes on in this article. "But hold the horses folks. We never received any sort of login information, never had to invent a password and type it in twice just to be sure- none of that stuff. GroupFlier's reprieve from the normal online registration routine takes the form of going to their website, entering your number, and they'll text message you a pin number." As Steve concludes in his review, GroupFlier is excited to be attending SXSW this coming weekend! Join "TechCocktail SXSW" to get real-time updates as we get closer to the event. |

Egypt4Peace Group
The recent demonstrations in Cairo, Egypt have captured the attention of the world. GroupFlier is following Wael Ghonim, a Google Executive in North Africa. Ghonim has become an unofficial spokesperson for the revolutionaries in Cairo, although he says, "I dont' want this to be about me. Because in reality this is not about me and because I don't want to be the face on this." in an interview with CNN's Ivan Watson. The social climate in Cairo and Ghonims' advocacy for cooperation has prompted GroupFlier to create a group dedicated to the issue. We invite you to join the group by going to groupflier.com/join/Egypt4Peace or texting Egypt4Peace to (617) 394-1386. You will get twitter posts from Wael Ghonim without having to turn on DM for you phone from twitter and in English. |

Text Your Way To Better Health
By Stephanie Habif, EdD, MS, CHES During the recent Health 2.0 Developer Challenge a colleague said to me, "How can we give people a chance to use their mobile phones to share information about their diet so they can take photos of their food and share only with the people they choose? Facebook and Twitter are too public; we need to allow for smaller, personalized groups. We need something simple." I told him about GroupFlier. You can easily handpick your group members, share photos, and keep an ongoing text dialogue about the food you're eating. When you tell your group about what you plan to eat or what you are eating, receive their feedback, and find out what they're eating too, it can help you better your diet. To learn more about how this works, check out |

Group Texting Is Here
With our launch of GroupFlier, you can easily set up a free group to share texts among the members. It is easy and it meets the real need of how to do a text in a group. We call the experience "social texting." It doesn't matter what kind of phone or device you have or what service plan you have, you can use GroupFlier to message friends clearly and easily. Here is our screen shot – it says it all:
Texting used to be hard to do in a group. It was creepy getting those mass texts and you never know who was in the group. Now, with GroupFlier, you can see who is speaking and keep a group on track. |
